Experts Live NL - Who Could've Guessed

I’ve got some great news to share…

…my session Azure Monitor Baseline Alerts: Taming the Dragon with Minimal Effort has been accepted for Experts Live NL 2025!

After a long period of waiting, an extended deadline (from March 15th to April 11th) and a bit of doubt, I finally received the email I had been waiting for!

We’re excited to inform you that your session, Azure Monitor Baseline Alerting, taming the dragon with minimal effort, has been accepted for Experts Live Netherlands 2025.

What’s Experts Live NL?

For those unfamiliar, Experts Live Netherlands is the largest Microsoft community event in the BeNeLux region. It’s a one-day conference where over 1,750 IT professionals and developers come together to share knowledge about Microsoft technologies. What started as a small user group in 2009 has grown into the biggest Microsoft community event in the region.

The 2025 edition takes place on June 3rd at NBC Congrescentrum in Nieuwegein, featuring lots of sessions across various different tracks covering everything Microsoft: from AI and Azure to Security and Microsoft 365.

My Session

I’ll be doing a 20-minute demo only session about Azure Monitor Baseline Alerts (AMBA). If you’ve ever struggled with setting up consistent monitoring across your Azure environment, this one’s for you.

AMBA is essentially a solution that gives you expert-recommended alerts for Azure services without having to figure out all the thresholds and configurations yourself. Think of it as monitoring best practices, packaged up and ready to deploy.

Looking Forward

I’m genuinely excited about this opportunity. The Dutch Microsoft community is fantastic, and I’m looking forward to sharing something practical that people can actually use in their environments.
